The Gasherbrum-IV, the stunning pyramid is the most awe-inspiring mountain in the Gasherbrum group. The traditional route to its base camp goes from Skardu a. A jeep able trek from Skardu to Askole reducing the reaching time to Gasherbrum-IV base camp.

The Italian expedition team led by Mr. Riccardo Cassin along with Walter Bonnati, Carlo Maurimade the first ascent on 6^thAugust 1958. These mountaineers could arguably be described as the most talented Italian Alpinists of their era. Due to snowstorm, they spent the whole night at camp-6 and day after they came down to camp-5 (7193-M) through an extremely hazardous route.

ITINERARY

DAY-01

Arrival at Benazir International Aiport Islamabad and transfer to Hotel

DAY-02	Briefing at Alpine Club of Pakistan. Meeting with Liaison Officer.
DAY-03	Departure for Chlias via Silk Rout, sight seeing all along the rout with the company of Indus river the longest river of Pakistan It flows from Tibet northwest across the Indian-controlled portion of Jammu and Kashmir, passing between the western extremity of the Himalayas and the northern extremity of the Hindu Kush mountain range; it then courses generally south through Pakistan to the Arabian Sea. Overnight in Chilas.
DAY-04	Drive to Skardu, (8 -10 hrs).
DAY-05	By jeeps to Askole (8-9 hrs) at 3000 meters.
DAY-06	Traverse Biafo Glacier and cross Dumordu River to Jhola (6-8 hrs).
DAY-07	Trek to Paiyu provides good views of Baltoro South, Cathedral Towers and triangle of K2 at far view (5-7 hrs).
DAY-08	Day free at Paiyu for acclimatization (3600 m).

DAY-09	To Khuburtze (5-8 hrs): A gradual climb up Baltoro Glacier on the southern edge with lovely walk of the last 90 minutes to the camp site at 4000 m.

DAY-10	Urdukas: 4-5 hrs walk mostly along the crest of lateral moraine, with stunning views of Paiyu Peak, Chorichi, Uli Biaho, Trango Towers and so on. A good camp site at 4200 mtrs.

DAY-11	Goro II: The first hour walk is across difficult side crevasses, however the way is smoother and easy in the center. Continue opposite of Yermanendo Glacier for 3-4 hrs to the camp site at 4500 meters pitched in the center of the glacier.

DAY-12	6-7 hours trek to Gasherbrum IV basecamp.
Day 13-45	Climb Gasherbrum IV. lenght of Climbing period depends on weather, fitness, and experience of the climbers.
Day 46-52	Return to Askole and drive to Skardu.
Day 53	Fly back to Islamabad if unable due to bad weather same day drive to Chilas. Overnight at Chilas Hotel.
Day 54	Early morning drive to Islamabad.
Day 55	De-briefing at Alpine Club of Pakistan and transfer to Benazir International Aiport for your onward destination. End of Our services
