Masherbrum (7821 M)

Masherbrum is one of the magnificent peaks of Karakoram Pakistan. The peak is also known as K-1 name by British survey team in 1856. The peak is a stunning ice and rock peak, mounting the south of the Baltoro Glacier. The summit vertical north face is a great pyramid with vertical narrow ridges expanding quickly to sharp peak. Masherbrum demonstrates to be a thrilling climbs to the mountaineers It was first climbed by the Mr. George Bell and Willie Unsoeld, member of the American-Pakistani expedition in the year 1960. The approach route to Gasherbrum base camp starts from Skardu and the approach trek starts from the Hushe village on the Masherbrum glacier.

ITINERARY

DAY-01

Arrival at Islamabad Airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in hotel.

DAY-02	Briefing at Alpine Club of Pakistan and departure for Chilas via Silk Rout, sight seeing all along the rout with the company of Indus river the longest river of Pakistan It flows from Tibet northwest across the Indian-controlled portion of Jammu and Kashmir, passing between the western extremity of the Himalayas and the northern extremity of the Hindu Kush mountain range; it then courses generally south through Pakistan to the Arabian Sea. Overnight in Chilas.
DAY-03	Drive to Skardu, over night in hotel. (8 hours drive)
DAY-04	Day for final preparation for the expedition.
DAY-05	Drive to Hushe. .
DAY-06	Trek to Brumbrama. During the trek we will cross Hushe and Aling River. En route the views of Cathedral Peak, overnight in hotel.

DAY-07	Trek to Masherbrum Base camp for 2 to 3 hours via Masherbrum Glacier.
Day08 to Day39	Climbing activities. Length of climbing days depends on fitness of climber.
DAY-40	Trek to Hushe via Gondogoro La.
DAY-41	Drive to Skardu.
DAY-42	Drive to Besham.
DAY-43	Drive to Islamabad. Over night in Hotel.
Day- 44	Debriefing at Alpine Club of Pakistan, Islamabad.
Day- 45	Transfer to Benazir International Airport Islamabad for yoiur onward destination. End of our services.
