This trek will be through one of the remotest part of Karakoram. It’s a 22-day mini expedition with 15 nights camping and 5 nights in hotels.
You will enjoy the climb of 6,000 meters trekking peak. It is situated in the heart of Karakoram Range in Shimshal, the remotest valley in the whole range.
Its mountains are some of the toughest, with some high virgin peaks
with this background we take you to an ascent of a 6,050 meters high trekking Peak, which has been climbed many times by our guides from
the valley. We will start the trip from Islamabad and drive on the legendary Karakoram Highway to Passu towards upper Hunza, from where we take 4x4 jeeps to enter the valley.
It takes a two-day trek to reach the main village Shimshal. From the village, it is a 4-day trek to the base camp of Minglik Sar. After the peak attempt, we take a six days trek over three passes to arrive at Karakoram Highway, just south of Khunjerab Pass on Pak-China border. |
